Our Mission

A place where to be heard, understood, supported, encouraged and cared about.

We all need a place where we can fully talk about what’s going on in our lives. This is why New Day exists.

Since our founding in 2010, New Day Counseling Center has been helping hundreds of people, just like you who may function well in areas of life. Yet, like all of us, life brings challenges that can become overwhelming. It is during those times we need encouragement and support.

As a faith-based 501c3 nonprofit organization, we offer quality counseling and therapy services in San Diego county. We believe in helping you become stronger, happier, and healthier. Additionally, our team offers workshops, seminars, and connections to other community resources and support groups, relevant to the many different aspects of life.

Our hope for New Day to be a non-judgemental environment and the place you feel safe expressing your thoughts, feelings, and struggles, while being pointed towards solutions and aids that lead to growth.

New Day Counseling Center's mission is to provide quality faith-based therapy

A Communal Vision

Growth happens most within relationships.

We offer a community to aid us through life issues without shame and judgment. We do our best to dispel the Christian myth that you are the only one with problems. We are not alone in our circumstances. We provide and create safe and confidential settings to connect and grow.

Statement of Faith

The ministry partner tenants, volunteers, employees, officers, members of the Board of Directors and affiliated organizations of New Day Counseling Center agree in all material aspects with our Statement of Faith as follows.

What We Believe on:

  • We believe in one God (1 Timothy 2:5), eternally existing (Psalm 90:2) in 3 persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19) each whom possesses equally all the attributes of the Deity.

  • We believe Jesus Christ who is God (John 1:1) became flesh (John 1:14).

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3,4), and that He has come to glorify Christ (John 16:14) to convict and draw sinners to Christ (John 16:8), to regenerate (Titus 3:5), baptize (Mark 1:8), indwell (1 Corinthians 6:19) and seal believers (Ephesians 1:13).

  • We believe that God inspired all of the words of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:15); the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, in order to give every person His authoritative revelation, wholly and without error of any kind in its original writing (Proverbs 30:5).

  • We believe that God saves those who put their faith in Christ alone (John 3:14-15), giving them His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:2), and keeping them eternally secure (John 10:28).

  • We believe in the Genesis account of creation. Genesis 1:1-2 is to be understood historically and literally, not as an allegory or figuratively.

  • We believe that men and women were created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). First man sinned, bringing spiritual death to all people (Romans 5:8-19). We believe as a result, all need Christ (Salvation, Romans 6:23).

  • We believe that although a believer may sin (Galatians 1:6), all believers are called to live Holy lives (1 Thessalonians 4:7) through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16).

  • We believe that the church, the body of Christ (Colossians 1:18), is composed of those who put their faith in Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-13).

We believe believers should meet regularly in local churches for:

    • Worship (Hebrews 12:28)

    • Observing the Lord’s Supper and baptisms (Acts 2:41, 1 Corinthians 11:23)

    • Encouragement of the brethren (Hebrews 10:25) and discipline (Matthew 18:15-17)

    • Carrying out God’s purpose in this world (Ephesians 3:10-11)

We are the hands and feet of Christ reflecting God and Jesus of the Bible in our community.

  • We believe in everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and everlasting conscious punishment of the unsaved (1 Thessalonians 4:17, Revelation 20:12-15). We believe in the imminent personal, visible return of Christ (Acts 1:1) to inaugurate the Kingdom in which He will reign (Luke 1:32-33).
